So, we're on day 6 from Nickolas' surgery and I think the most remarkable thing from this surgery is that he can smell and taste food! It was something we hadn't really even thought about until he was like what do I smell, this tastes funny, etc... I mean, he's stuffed up all the time, so I can see how that would be the case, I had just never thought about it.
Alissa's had 2 shots now and so far, so good. :) This week, she only cried at the thought of it, not when they gave her the shot itself.
Nickolas is doing well with his vest treatments and we're just struggling to find a schedule for all of us to follow.
